A Trade Centre contact looking for logs to export.
This Trade Centre contact, (based here in New Zealand) has a buyer in Shanghai for large volumes of Radiata Pine. His client who has been buying logs from New Zealand for a number of years now has a need to expand his purchasing and in so doing is looking for another sustainable supplier.
Their wish is to purchase around 25000-30000 JAS per month long term from this new supplier, however, they are willing to try a smaller amount in the early stages so assure to get the quality assurance they are looking for. It is their intention to then gradually move to 25000-30000JAS per month (one full loaded shipment per month).
They are willing to do FOB and to start a trail deal immediately. The payment term is Irrevocable LC AT SIGHT.
So far all communication with this buyer has been via the phone or email but in each instance I have found him to be very accurate, reliable and professional with the supplying of any information I have requested.
