ExportNZ is organising two business missions and would like to hear from members who are interested in taking part. The business/trade missions are:
- NZ Business Mission to ASEAN (Viet Nam and Thailand) 2017 – in association with the ASEAN NZ Business Council, August 5 to 12; and
- NZ Business Mission to South America (Chile & Argentina) 2017 – in association with the Latin America NZ Business Council, September 27 to October 4.
What is a business mission?
Our business missions provide an opportunity to take part in co-ordinated visits with structured programmes of business briefings, company visits, networking events and one-on-one meetings.
ExportNZ is collaborating with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) and the respective regional business council to achieve specific business outcomes for you, to support your business growth.
Benefits of taking part
- Participation in dedicated business-to-business matching arranged in advance of departure through New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, by the mission organisers;
- Valuable insights, in a quick and effective way, into the opportunities of an export market. Being in the market and experiencing it first hand is essential and cannot be substituted with desk-based research or third hand reports.
- Utilising the support of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade gives you a credible presence within the market.
- Gaining opportunities to meet a significant number of decision-makers and key influencers from Government business;
- Connecting with customers who you would not be able to reach in a private capacity; and
- Being part of a team. Delegates from previous business missions have commented on the collective power, energy and strength of the group. Other members of the team bring you opportunities that may otherwise be missed.

Note: there is an option to travel on to Myanmar Saturday 12th August for one night
Note: the business mission coincides with the All Blacks vs Argentina match scheduled for Saturday 30th September
We will travel with a delegation no larger than 30 persons. Securing your place will be on a first-in basis.
