New Zealand-based Chinese digital marketing agency United Media Solution (UMS) has become an official sponsor of the New Zealand China Trade Association (NZCTA), New Zealand’s largest China focused organization promoting trade and business between the two countries.
The move is a reflection of the strength and importance of New Zealand’s economic relationship with China and comes as the two countries celebrate the 2019 China-New Zealand year of Tourism which aims to deepen the ties between the countries.
Under the sponsorship agreement UMS will work with NZCTA to host a series of China Digital Marketing events to help educate members about the opportunities and challenges to marketing in China.
As part of their sponsorship UMS will also assist NZCTA to launch an official WeChat account and help manage the account including posting and sharing NZCTA content via the social media platform. Jessica Miao (pictured), Chief Executive Officer at UMS, says “As a business with roots in both China and New Zealand we are delighted to partner with NZCTA to help promote and foster trade and business between the two nations.
“Later this year we will be launching a series of events to create greater awareness of the opportunities for New Zealand businesses in China and we look forward to working closely with the NZCTA team on these events.”
Martin Thomson, Chair of NZCTA, commented: “NZCTA welcomes the opportunity to work with UMS. Social Media has become a crucial part of many company’s business in China and with a presence in both countries UMS is uniquely positioned to assist our members in developing their China digital marketing strategies.”
