This visitor to the Trade Centre from Saudi Arabia acting as a representative for the family has an interesting list of products that he is looking to export.
The family business which comprises about 8 small companies with approx 150 staff have business interests ranging from construction and pet-food supplies through to the supplying of science equipment for school laboratories. The laboratory supplies go all the way from the desk and chair that you sit at to the Bunsen Burners and Test Tubes that the students use every day.
Of interest to this businessman on this particular visit is pet-food, (cat and dog) and any medical equipment, surgical supplies etc.
I met with this gentleman twice and found him to be very pleasant and knowledgeable with the backing of his company to get things moving. Although very easy to talk to face to face I would recommend that you communicate through email in the early stages as telephone English could be a different thing altogether.
