A Trade Centre visitor looking for NZ Wines.
A Trade Centre visitor from Brazil is in New Zealand looking for NZ wines to export to Brazil and China. This visitor currently has a trading business that imports and exports various products to and from Brazil as well as into China and the USA.
At the moment most of the wine he imports is coming from Spain and Portugal but now believes there is a good opportunity to expand this to include NZ product. As well as being very active in Brazil another part of his business distributes to China and the USA.
He is looking for wines that will be around the 4 – 7 euro mark.
His company is also in the process of opening offices in Hong Kong in order to better meet the needs of the South East Asian markets.
I met with this gentleman personally and found him to be very professional, (an Economist by education) and very easy to communicate with.
