Manuka Health, one of New Zealand’s most succesful honey brands, is launching MGO™ 400+ Manuka Honey with CycloPower™ into Asia, a supplement that makes taking manuka honey faster and easier. CycloPower is Manuka Health’s proprietary advanced natural delivery system for bioactive supplements.
MGO 400+ Manuka Honey with CycloPower will be unveiled at Vitafoods Asia in Hong Kong on 2 September. Vitafoods Asia is the only dedicated event for the nutraceutical, functional food and drinks, and dietary supplement industries in Asia.
“MGO 400+ Manuka Honey with CycloPower is an innovative, 100% natural solution for people that want to take manuka honey easily and conveniently. Another great advantage is its low Glycemic Index which makes the products suitable for people that cannot take honey straight from the jar, but want to enjoy all the benefits they’ve heard about,” says Dr Mike Durbin, Manuka Health’s General Manager of Wellness.
Dr. Durbin explains that customers can be confident that the high-grade New Zealand manuka honey used in the CycloPower supplement is authentic due to the rigorous testing that Manuka Health carries out.
“We measure methylglyoxal, one of the key compounds naturally occurring in New Zealand manuka honey, in independently certified laboratories,” says Dr. Durbin. “The MGO Manuka Honey quality system that we launched in 2007 is now internationally accepted as providing a reliable certification of manuka honey. This means customers can trust that they are getting the real deal when they purchase a Manuka Health product.”
So far, MGO Manuka Honey with CycloPower is available as a capsule and a chewable tablet. Both options provide a source of natural fibre. The chewable tablets have the additional benefit of containing Xylitol, which means they are dental-friendly.
