The categories in the Air New Zealand Cargo ExportNZ Awards 2019 are:
Westpac Institutional Bank Best Large Business (goods exporter) – for businesses with a total annual revenue of over $40 million.
Best Large Business (services exporter) – for businesses with a total annual revenue of over $40 million.
Ports of Auckland Best Medium Business (goods exporter) – for businesses with a total annual revenue of $5 million – $40 million.
BDO Best Medium Business (services exporter) – for businesses with a total annual revenue of $5 million – $40million.
DHL Best Emerging Business (goods exporter) – for businesses with a total annual revenue of under $5 million and which have a history operating internationally with growth up to a maximum of 5 years.
Company-X Best Emerging Business (services exporter) – for businesses with a total annual revenue of under $5 million and which have a history operating internationally with growth up to a maximum of 5 years.
Baldwins Intellectual Property Excellence in Innovation – recognizing success in developing and commercializing innovation in international markets, incorporating intellectual property, strategy, processes, and monitoring.

Finalists and winners
The category winners from the respective ExportNZ regional awards programmes will automatically qualify as finalists in the national, New Zealand International Business Awards 2019, run by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE).
Shortlisted entries will be visited by three judges who have been assigned to each award category.
Finalist companies in the Air New Zealand Cargo ExportNZ Awards 2019 will be filmed for a complimentary, 30-second promotional video to keep, and for ExportNZ to screen on awards night.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Auckland on June 27. Attendance is open to all.
