ExportNZ is organising a meeting to introduce you to the team that can help you with your regulatory barriers and problems. We know that processed food exporting can be hard, and you can get caught up in a lot of red tape, from both domestic regulation and foreign governments’ requirements. ExportNZ has been working with exporters and officials and compiled the list of issues. One of the requests we made was for a high ranking MPI champion for processed food exporters. That person is Paul Dansted, Director of Food Regulation, NZ Food Safety. He will be joining us on the zoom call and is keen to hear how MPI can be more supportive of processed food exporters. Representatives from the MPI exporter regulatory advice team, led by Christine Dean will also attend along with a representative from the Market Access team.
