The India New Zealand Business Council (INZBC) is holding its 4th Annual Summit in Auckland on the 4th of August, with the spotlight on education and technology.
Over 200 delegates will attend the high intensity event, focusing on the international education industry and comprehensive insights from policy makers. The summit will attract delegates from across New Zealand and India to discuss in-depth the scope of the edu-tech industry in both countries.
The strategic partners of the Edu-Tech Summit 2017 are the Wellington Institute of Technology, Whitireia New Zealand and Education New Zealand.
INZBC has signed an MOU with FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) – the largest and oldest apex business organisation in India. FICCI plays a leading role in policy debates that are at the forefront of social, economic and political change.
Opening new doors for businesses, the summit will feature education industry solution providers, policymakers, perspectives on learning and innovation priorities, edu-tech start-ups from India and New Zealand. It will provide exposure to global best practices and explore collaboration opportunities between Indian and New Zealand education providers.
Explaining why the spotlight this year is on education and technology, INZBC board member Wenceslaus Anthony says, “International education is New Zealand’s fifth largest export industry, with a goal to achieve $5 billion economic value by 2025.
“Attending this summit will not only equip attendees with knowledge on opportunities in the edu-tech sector, but it will also help them get connected with excellent speakers and the wider business community.”
